Advice for EU Citizens

UNISON produced guidance on right to remain in September last year. Although things are set to change over the next two years you may find the advice helpful.

UNISON wanted to give you an easy to understand overview of the residence rights of European Economic Area (EEA)1 nationals in the UK. Since the UK referendum vote to leave the European Union (EU), many EEA nationals and their families are worried about their future rights to remain here. The booklet outlines the current position and also suggests some steps that EEA nationals should take to help secure their right to reside here.
