Thank you to all our members that came to this year’s very successful and very well attended AGM.
Lots was discussed including campaigning for a 4% pay rise this year (see the UNISON Higher Education Motion on this year’s pay claim), and we passed our own motion on stress (see ‘Taking Stress Seriously’ as a word doc). Watch this space for more details on our Taking Stress Seriously campaign at London Met, and save the date:
Tuesday 8th June, 1-2pm: Reclaim your Lunch-hour day!

There is lots of help available and training will be offered. Being involved in London Met UNISON branch is very rewarding and we always welcome new faces on board. If you don’t want to be a ‘rep’ or want to know more about what that means first, get in touch, or think about being a ‘contact point’ to keep us up to date on what goes on in your department. Stop hesitating, step forward!
